Born in Kingston, Ontario, Canada, Michelle moved to Houston, Texas in 1995 and now holds dual citizenship in the United States and Canada. As a professional business entrepreneur, with over 19 years in the staffing and executive recruiting industry, Michelle worked for a Fortune 100 staffing firm serving as a Director of Permanent Placement in Canada and the USA.
Professional Career
After leaving Canada, she decided to shock the recruiting industry in 2001, and founded Rimi and Company, www.rimipv.com, an Executive Recruiting firm with corporate office in Houston, Texas and operations in Calgary, Alberta, Canada. She is the co-founder of HERO (Houston Executive Recruiters Organization), and actively supports and volunteers with many network and business groups, such as Women Business Enterprise Alliance(WBEA), eWomen Network (USA and Canada), Hispanic Chamber of Commerce, NHPO (National Hispanic Professional Organization), TreyTech, Women’s Chamber of Commerce, First Models Houston, Job Ministries Southwest (JMS), BJM (Between Job Ministries), HR Houston, HR Roundtable, Ascension, OrganoGold, 24 Hour Fitness.
